The accoustic piano patches on my Pro X will sometimes shift down a whole step without me touching any of the controllers other than the keys themselves.

Also, they sometimes go out of town with themselves.

Additionally, sometimes the master effects will suddenly become much more pronounced.

Again, all three problems occur without me touching anything other than the keyboard.

If I turn off the Triton and let it sit for a while before turning it back on, the pitch or effect problem will usually go away.

Has anyone else experienced problems like this with their Triton? If so, did you ever find out what was causing it? I've already taken it in to the shop and the tech couldn't find anything wrong with it, so I'm hoping to be able to give him some clues when I take it back in.

Thanks in advance,

Max

What your describing is something that has been reported a few times over the years, and the purchase of a UPS solved all those issues.
I'm not saying that this will be the solution to your problem. All I'm saying that is for others I suggested they buy a UPS and all their problems went away.

Regards.
Sharp.

Smile No worries.

Basically the Triton is a sensitive computer. If the power fluctuates enough, it can cause the computer to do abnormal things. A UPS will feed a perfectly stable supply to the Triton that is clean of all noise too. And if the power dips too low, the UPS will take what it can from the socket, and power the Triton with it's own battery in order to make up what is missing and maintain the stable required voltage.

If the power spikes or dies, then the UPS will power the Triton completely with not even a single drop of juice coming from the socket in the wall. Smile Cool huh !!!

Regards.
Sharp.

i agree with what sharp said, or it could be ur pitch bend, I know that same thing hapens both on my triton and on my korg i30. The pitch bend spring is not good and is out has been played with alot of times. when i bend the pitch towards the right everything works well after.
