You know - I am always eager to post comments after the first few listens. But there is also value in waiting a day or two then re-listen.

So I was thinking about the end part as the issue of how much to play has confronted me more than once. I think what really matters is how memorable the section is. Or in my own vernacular - how tasty is it? So there aren't a lot of notes, but the licks are tasty - and that is key because that is what the listener will remember.

Well that is my view - your mileage may vary - and all disclaimers apply.

Hi Again!!

Just listening a bit more to everyones'...This gets more laid back with listening...Love the whole thing!!

One thing..at about 1:30 and beyond as I recall...you have the bass eletronic sound move UP from the C to C#..and it might be more interesting to move a contrasting note in the treble...down...

Not anything wrong...just something that kept striking me...

Great Number...and the style I can't even get off the ground...so.. I am little help!!

My Regards...John ellll Rolling Eyes

I missed this!
Confused
I really like the way it builds, and morphs, even though the rhythm section remains pretty constant.
Since I don't frequent this style I'm not a good critic, but I did actually enjoy the listen a lot.
Sounds Good

Just wanted to add a comment to this.

Initially I had stated that the extra kick at 2:40 seemed a bit much. After giving this a few more listens, I have to admit that it not only grew on me, but created a break in the experience that accented the song. Surprised

I now understand why you added it. Embarassed

Here is where we all benefit from each others (sometimes quite different) grasp of musical knowledge and how to exercise it.

Once again, great job.

Jon
