All right Rabbit, I'll add your name to the list. I wondered if you might join because you do produce a lot of good music.
Nice song. I would like something different in the middle. More of a break in the rhythm maybe. But it's nice this way also. Good dance number. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Ten songs a month is great. But......
That is one thing I like about the OSAM. You get away with nothing. And that is what shapes and molds a good song into a great song.
I'll never forget Stephen making a comment on the piano track on one of my songs. I went back and spent hours listening and comparing and generally "getting it right". And when I was done, it was better...MUCH better than my first push of it out the door. And that was just over a single track in a song with about 30-40 tracks.
Yes it limits the amount of songs you can accomplish, but OSAM turns our song ideas into masterpieces when we allow the input of so many great voices to teach us new tricks and broaden our knowledge base. At this point, I wonder if I could complete a personal album (I can be objective with others but rarely myself) without the help of so much talent.

Hi, Rabbit,
If you are indeed a part of this little OSAM, I hope you will find it helpful. I always enjoy your music ..you know that; but remember, we do want to comment and see you pleased with that as well. I will listen later today and get some comments posted.
Remember, you must try to listen to the other members as well, and give comments...good or bad..that may be helpful...
If you are serious, I say Well Come! We are glad to have you!!!
We now have 11 in the group, and George is our leader!! Hope you enjoy our company!!
Regards!! ellll |

O.K. Rabbit!,
Enjoyed it! Thanks!..
For me, not being very sharp on this genre, I would like to see some subtle change, but I realize the style is indeed repetitive...It needs a "middle"
The voice is good. I feel it of course, is the main point you are making here...Again, I would have liked to see a bit of change there as well..(Instead of G..down..E only), an A could be wanted (for the A minor key) Could have been a part that would have pleased me...(but thats just me...)
I thought your mix and final worked well..Indeed, what I have mentioned, as well as a "little" center section would be a plus for me. Could be done with a simple re-mix..
Overall, I enjoyed it!!

Jonsolo, you are reading my mind for sure. I have benefited greatly by slowing down. I was a couple years ago doing one song a week, and while each was a breakthru, once I began to do one a month, I slowed down and edited and tweaked and perfected. And much of this is by listening carefully to others posts as well as humbly paying attention to what people say about my own pieces is where the strength in OSAM resides. I think it's pefectly fine to churn out many pieces aside from this endeavor for those so inclined. As a matter of fact I'm just bursting with song ideas right now. I may simply create blank templates with these ideas and work them behind the scenes so when a future month begins I will have some material already somewhat developed. But I do think each song for each month should get the full treatment and be given it's just due. I would rather at year's end, have 12 great pieces that are cohesive and that are the best I can do. I do believe that only a few of us actually have produced actual finished cd's of our osam songs. That's why after the first osam, i dropped out because I had to remaster and tweak my cd and get it copyrighted and burned and sent to cdbaby. I haven't sold very many copies, though some people have gotten digital versions of my mp3s through cdbaby as well, but at least I have now 2 comleted cds. I even got the bar codes for them to make them as profesisonal as possible. I hope more of us go the full route this time and produce an entire set of completed work in whatever medium we choose. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

I bet you suspect that of me....and you would be right...
I also have clips all over the place...I still carry a recorder with me at times..(easy w/todays simple chip units..) and just flick it on and sample/hum/etc...whatever...
Then when I get home, I try them with diff. inst. on the O1W..and save on disc...I got disks as far as the eye can see..(almost...)!!!

It's a catchy number, and the vocal samples work really well.
As already mentioned, this style of music is more for dancing to than listening in the traditional way, a middle section would have been a nice break.
Great start to OSAM rabbit _________________ Chordial |

Hi!
Sorry I'm a bit late on this...
I think it's very nice, and I agree with chordial that this kind of music is better for dancing rather than for listning, but it sounds good.
The mix is quite dark, I should boost more high ends and try to have more powerfull basses, so cut a little in the middle-muddiness area, and you're done.
