I have a 61 key triton workstation about 7 years old. The second octave seems to be stuck on mute. The 1st, 3rd, and 4th are all working fine, but none of the keys in the second octave are producing any sound? I have tried re-booting factory pre-load disk, and this hasn't helped, please give suggestions if you can. |

Interesting ... my TS recently dropped 22 keys ..... Sharp indicated that it might simply be a ribbon cable problem. I haven't tried to take it apart yet to verify, but it sounds like that might be your problem as well.
If you try this - let us know how you make out. _________________ Care for a jelly baby?

I'm not the handiest guy in the world- I'm a little scared of taking apart the whole keyboard.....I was wondering if this could be a problem in the global settings or midi zone/control----since precisely one octave (exactly 12 keys is not producing sound.... |
