Hi!
Finally here after a lot of problems.
Please, forgive me, it needs a lot of tweak and fix, Sonar is making me crazy...
All will be done again under Digital Performer!

This isn't the Diego I used to know... (not talking about the music cos it's very interesting, it could fit perfectly for advertisement of some kind)

Fantastic epic-like beginning. Then a very nice dance-y riff over a very funky background. Perfect little breakdown, that has the really cool intonal thing happening. Then....
Diegooooooooooooooooooo Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! IT ENDED! What?!?!
That little intonal arp thing at the end had me expecting...something BIG!
Hopefully this will either be built upon or have a part two for March, cause this was really rocking. Reminded me of Lorenzo's piece. It gotcha going. So does this one.
Good job. Gimme more!
Lorenzo- advertising?!?! Maybe. Could be. The advertising in America is not as interesting or as musical as it is in other countries. Sadly America takes pride on stumbling across some left field song that came out 35 years ago that I have had in my collection since the day it came out (i.e. Nick Drake) and running it into the ground on commercials, instead of inviting new talent to the floor.

I love this. Very detuned and dark, the way I like my riffs. No wonder this has been a struggle, you're getting into some very original sounding dark wave industrial electronica or something. I like the sounds. The percussion could be a tad louder for me. And I need more more more. It's very short. But I love it. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

I love it!
It's off the wall but so short, I want much more of this!
This needs to be extended big time, it's building up to something we can't hear.
It starts to kick in at 45s, but cuts too soon.
Great work. _________________ Chordial |

Hey, did you red what I saied on my post?!?! "Don't be kind!!"...
Thanks a lot for you kind words, I really appreciate that.
BTW, I must be honest telling that it still need a lot of fixing.
I guess during this week I won't have much time to work on my music because I've got a lot of work at the office and have to study for huge test at the conservatory.
Talking about my tune, I've experienced very bad problems with Sonar.
I've always used that sequencer flawlessly, but now it's killing me!
All plugin settings, track automations and bus routing got lost, so I had to care on make the music sound, instead of compose something more.
I'm so sorry about that, I promise that all will be much better ASAP.
With a touch of Virus B and Trinity Rack it will sound fatter, darker, with a lot more energy!

Eheh, you're always kidding with my waveforms, going over and over 0dB...you're just green of envy
Yes, Jon, advertisments is what I had in my mind: this OSAM is going to be a challenge for me, forcing to write stuff I've never wrote, as a very usefull training for the future.
George, Jon and Chordial: don't worry, it's going to be a bit longer in the next version
Thanks a lot for taking the time to listen and comment.

Ohh man - love that "epic" beginning! Serious drums hits - bright and clear with lots of punch.
Interesting ebb and flow - opening up for the arps that fade in then ... Whaaaaaaaaa! It ended!!! Whaaaaaa!!! _________________ Care for a jelly baby?

I guess it's really sooooo short, because a lot of you got shocked by the early end
As soon as I can put my hands on the Novation Remote 25 SL I'm waiting from a week, I'll turn all the project to Digital Performer, and hopefully I'll stop all that Sonar pains!
Thanks a lot for your comments. _________________ Diego http://www.myspace.com/diegoinmusic

Hi Deigo!,
Great number, though a bit beyond my ability to comment on...It is really bright and exciting, but it does need to be "finished"...
The beginning is really killer...great ideas developing...I will await another play...with more material at the end...
Really enjoyed it, and hang the length for the sake of length...I have one I am working on that is short...so I won't feel bad about putting it on!!!..
Thanks Deigo! John ellll |

Thanks a lot for your kind comments!
Now I'm nearly ready to work again on the song, so I can improove a little sounds and mixing, and of course I can keep it longer
Yesterday I've received my Novation Remote 25 SL, and got back the Trinity Rack; some bundled softwares are ready to growl under DP on the iBook (don't want to use Sonar on Win anymore, after the bad experience)...
I just have to finish to study for the friday's exham at the conservatory, then I can work again on my music.
