Been catching some flack from the dudes over at the MPC forums for the use of the word N*gger in one of our songs, even though the guy that rapped it is black... go figure.
Anyways, a bunch of korg stuff features including:
2x KP3's
KP2
Kontrol 49
and software emulations(polysix ms20 etc)
Hope you guys enjoy the music. _________________ "Being original is tired, we're the same" |

I gave it a listen. I think you have some great ideas, though I am not as much into hip hop as I used to be. I think Floaty Girl is very cool. Fantastic rhythms and a good vocal meter keeps the track well planted. Great breakdowns in it as well. It is a welcomed change of pace over other HH I have heard.

P.S. As I just stated in another thread I am not a fan of any profanity in music, though that is all I used to record when I did hip hop. I feel the "n" word is not necessarily profanity but it becomes a divisive word and obnoxiously elitist when it becomes alright for one to use ANY word just because they are of a particular race yet wrong for anyone else to use it. There is no special word that I feel ANY race should have as their own. It is just downright stupid. I feel the same way about the term used in the USA: African American...is that a race? I never knew that American was a race, nor did I know that African was a race. I have a black friend in London who laughs out loud every time he hears that term. He says it is "juvenile". _________________ Jon Solo
