HI,

I have started using my triton rack for live gigs, slight problem, we where jamming the other night and half way through a song the rack switched to a different patch itself, this happened around 3 times, I'm using a controller keyboard, could it be maybe when im playing and have several keys depressed like in a chord that may be sending a midi request to the rack? I'm using a Oxygen 61 controller keyboard

Thanks

Logic would dictate that some sort of MIDI command is being sent, you'll have to try and duplicate the event, and figure out how to correct it.
Not much help I'm afraid but you need to be able to make it happen consistantly, then figure out what the problem is.
Good luck.

Hi Steven,

thanks for your suggestions, i have already tried to re duplicate the error using the same sound and song etc, nothing went wrong, Now im wondering with so many cables on the stage that maybe there is interference causing the glitch etc, I always make sure my midi lines are away from the power lines and power source and use quality shielded cables so im stumped for now, we are back at band practice on wed, so thats probably the best place to start and see if it happens again, If not then no doubt it will appear when we are doing an important gig. Is there a way of stopping all midi functions from the controller keyboard apart from the notes pressed to the rack?

Thanks for your help so far bud, Much appreciated

Don't know about your controller, but have you checked out what the MIDI filters in Triton could do for you?
See the Parameter Guide, from pg. 58 >
(4.1–1: M1–1..8 (MIDI Filter1–1 T01–08 ).
