I hate posting something so incomplete, but I am out of time. March was a very bizee month and I should be happy that I am able to post anything.

The performance is weak - I need more time to refine it, but I think you'll get the idea. I wanted to do a bass tune.

Geez!!!

What a great start!...This is killer, and the smooth bass a real winner....Makes me appreciate again how well you do this sort of thing...

Would like to hear jus' a tad more support balance...when you get a chance to do more...

Perc. seems on and wise to me...but again...maybe a better balance...Love it tho' will jus' let it run over n' over for a while...

Thanks!!!!! John (ellll) Very Happy Very Happy

I love how you've used delay here. And woa, that guitar sounds excellent. Although it's a bit curious that the entire mix shifts to the left "ear" during the solo. What a soft lush sound you've created. Is that a real guitar? It sounds like it is. I'm glad you posted this so we can hear what you're working on. It's an amaing sound. I can't wait to hear the finished piece.

I guess I'd forgotten what a wonderful bass player you are, this is sweet!
I'm very anxious to hear the finished product, so expect me to hound you if you don't post it up.
Great work here Art, I love it!
Cool

Again the percussive shift....very creative!

WHOA! Bass lead! Now I do believe this is a first for our forum! What a great sound you get too.

Incomplete...yes. But definitely on it's way. There is so much that can be done here.

As you complete it, please let us know.

As I commented on your previous piece, if you are going to throw percussive elements into one ear, it might not be a bad idea to either present a counter percussion or arp or something in the other ear.

Just my thoughts.

Jon

This is so smooth, heck that bass is something else again Smile
Short but ever so sweet Art, sweet sounds, another great vibe.
Yes, it should be 10 minutes long, but I'm loving it as it is.

Hi Art

This just got better and better as it went along - the rhythm of those background voices was so relaxing and gentle. I like hearing the sound of fingers on guitar strings too. What a beautiful track - hope you carry on with it.

It is so nice to hear real bass. You can't get that out of a keyboard. Art, you set up a nice groove with the M3 (I am guessing). There is much to be mined out of that groove. You should do more with the bass for sure. I encourage you to more of this. You have a lot of experience and feel with the bass. People can hear that. Very Nice, hermano!

Arrow More Bass tunes. Exclamation

Whew - been a hectic past 2 weeks .... I had some recording problems which slowed me down. I also had to adjust my bass to be able to play way up there. Yes - the panning was just a hack to stop the clipping so I could post. I have soooo much to do on this piece. Thing is I really want to finish it, and start my April tune too ..... so many tunes and so little time!
