I think I've laid my eyes on the ugliest microphone ever made by man - The Audio-Technica AT822:
It's the Stupid Deal of the Day at Musician's Friend. Now how is that possible? Who's ever going to pay $200 for that mushroom??

That is fugly! Looks like someone's sat on it.
Doesnt look too bad in use, however:

The Rode NT4 probably looks slightly better, for a coincidental pair type config:
Or the sleek Zoom H4 (even though it's a recorder too):
Some stereo mics are visually hilarious, though:
Looks like something out of StarFleet.
But if it sounds good...

Yeah, I'm sure it works well. It's just that it's so freakin ugly!
The ones you posted Timo were great to see! Is it AT who made that flat microphone too? Well the Zoom ain't bad looking. Kinda chubby though. But it really gets bad when you put on the windscreen:
But the last mic is nothing but cool.
