I geuss i am a noob when it comes to the x50... maybe somebody can help me out.

first, how do i turn off touch reponse? I tried setting the velocity curve in the global settings to 8, but it still is not what i need. Is there a better way?

Second, when i am using a tone such as square wave lead (prog D 010), when i play chords i can play the first chord, and then ill play the second chord, and it will be the same sound as the first chord. For example, i will play a F#m chord and it sounds fine, and then i move to F#+A+D and it sounds exactly like the F#m chord. Also related to this problem, when i play a chord such as one consisting of D#+G+A#+D# repeatdly, the pitch changes almost evertime play it.

there is nothing in the manual related to this.

Thanks for any help

To answer your second question, lead sounds are usually set to monophonic in the OSC (and that's the case with D010), meaning only one note will be played at the time, so if you hit a chord, what you will hear is the last note pressed - there's no way you heard a F#m chord played since you just played one note even though you pressed multiple. That's the way because it allows for a much clearer delivery of a solo for example. If you want to make it Poly, check your Basic OSC settings.

And the first.. I think except for global velocity curve, you can edit each of the sounds velocity zone (4th tab of Basic Osc in Prog, VelZ in Combi) in addition. Check that out if it works for you.
