|
|
Hello
Sommething seems wrong with my ms20 controller.
When i press the record button in cubase and want to record a note or sommeting else or even nothing, the controller sends other type of cc data.
It seems to have a life of itself.
What could be wrong? I know you can filter cc data in cubase but that doesnt fix my controller. Should i send it for repair?
Thank you for reading my message

It seems that when i use my envelope generators the ms 20 Controller sends out CC 1 data.(thats "modulation" wheel) I have to replace my mod wheel en then i let you all know if the problem is still there. |

Hi A M,
Yes, I have written about this, and to Korg, with little in terms of valid of useful repsonses. I have had CC1 just endlessly spewing out CC1 data, and you can use the interface or muck about wiht the stupid mod wheel trying to get it to unpredictably stop. I actually disconnected the wires within the MS-20, and even then, as sso as I tried moving other controllers on the 20, it still sent out CC1 data, so wtf?I then reconnected the wires as it didn't have any effect on whether it sent the data out.

They told me that in japan they never heard of this problem and don't know a solution. Korg Holland told me to use contactspray to eliminate dust . You might try this advice... Hope it helps for you. (damn volume controlle is evn worse then cc1 data) |
