Hello friends,
I have just uploaded the full version of the piece I posted in May. I'm not sure I like it anymore but it is one hour before the deadline so here it is:

looking forward to your comments

This is very catchy and fun. Infectious, really. This would make cool video game music for a platform game. Everything is bright and clear and fits perfectly well. Nicely polished piece that is kind on the ears. It would seem to be a nice lick to jam on in a live setting. Great energy too. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Ha ha ha ha. This is just a cool little piece. If I took the "best of the 80's" sounds and tossed them in a bag with you this is what would come out.
The bell rhodes sound is comically fun. The Herbie Hancock lead in the middle was excellent.
The beat is perfect as well. George called it...video game. I can see this little rounded creature making his way through a side-scrolling maze trying to avoid monkeys throwing bananas at him.

Ohh man - I caught the groove - can't get it outta my head .. ba da bum bum bo do bo boo
This is different than the previous version you posted. I like the little interlude in the middle which leads to the solo voice - what was that?
I really liked the percussion - that was cool. You must have an arsenal of sounds at your finger tips.

Thanks for feedback guys. Now that I listen to it, I can indeed see this tune as a computer game soundtrack lol.. its always interesting to see other's perception.
The interlude before the solo is just me playing bass on the keyboard. The drums were generated by Korg radias.
cheers

Sewa, I enjoy it a lot!!
As always I love to think about variations of the song, and I would like to hear it completly in electronic version: you've got plenty of great synths and great synth programming skills!
So, i.e., I would change the bel-rhodes sounds into a "pizzicato" synth, the picked bass into a fat mono analog bass, the brass into a trance lead...I'm hearing it in my mind, and it seems to sound good
I like a lot your style, and it makes me smile becuase I enjoy the listening, so for me it's perfect! _________________ Diego http://www.myspace.com/diegoinmusic

A song that has you tapping along straight away,
I love that bass line, it almost hops along, like your choice of sounds too.
Sounds like you had fun putting this together, it comes across that way _________________ Chordial |
