Another busy month, how the time flies!

Wish I had more time to work on the lead parts, and I have some catching up to do.

Cheers Simon

Hi Chordial,

Wow - nice tune. I like the sections - nice drums ! All you need now is vocals! Sounds like a story tune to me - I wish I could write lyrics 'cause this tune begs for them!

Do you plan on adding vocals? This is cool!

Thanks Art,
Wish I had more time to work on these, and yes vocals would be a great addition.
A friend of mine writes poetry, maybe I can twist his arm to come up with some lyrics Smile

This is a fantastic song bed with some nice textures involved. Although the chordage is a bit predictable, I am sure with the right melody this will step off the curb and be fantastic.

In a great way this has a 60's feel that I just love...maybe it's the lead guitar sound and swishy organ in the background.

I DO hope you bring something vocally with this.

Great job this month!

Jon

Ditto on the comments above. Everything seems to blend nicely, why am I getting a bit of Bob Dylan here, the old Dylan, or maybe Tom Petty or something. Anyway, this is lacking Stephen's voice perhaps. Hey, there as moments of Eric Clapton here as well.

Geeze Simon, this is really wonderful!
Crying out loud for some singing, but what a beautifully conceived piece of music.
Great work, I hope you have time to finish it, I love it.
Regards,

Thanks guys,
Another fast month, I've been away for a week on holiday and need to start thinking about the August song.
Lyrics would be nice but at the moment even getting this far is challenging Smile

Very nice!!!
I can hear a "Knockin on heaven's door" chord sequence, which I totally love!
Very good guitar sound and plyaing, I like these hammond sound!

Just a note about the drum: I like the snare sound, and the bass drum is well blended with the bass guitar sound, but the hi-hat it's too loud for my tastes...it sounds a little bit "mechanic", I would suggest to humanize it a little and to work on drum panning (thru iPod earphones it sounds panned in the dead center).

HTH,
BTW I like it!

Thanks Diego Smile
The drums were from the D1600, so I'm stuck with the general panning, thanks for the advice.
Cheers Simon
