Hello,
Has anyone had experience using a Korg Kontrol 49 or MicroKorg controller with a Korg or any brand arranger module or board?
Ciao,
Jerry

Hello ginol96,
Thank you for responding. I can't determine how to control the volume of the lead voice from on board my MicroKontrol. It adjusts the volume of all the tracks on the module and not just the lead. I can easily adjust the lead when I use the MicroKontrol with my the PA800 but from the keyboard and not the controller. I can't adjust only the lead track with arranger modules however. Any ideas?
Ciao,
Jerry

Choices are a few.
If you want to control your MicroKontrol by PAkeyboard:
You have to set up on MENU - GLOBAL - MIDI OUT.
When you want to control MicroKontrol by sequencer set up MIDI OUT actual channel to control SQ track.
Opposite. If you want to control Pa keyboard by MicroKontrol, you have to set up MIDI IN on keyboard to MIDI OUT on MicroK.

If you want to control somebody, you have to set up same MIDI channel on both devices.
You can set up SQ tracks on MENU - SONG - Track MODE - Interna/external according what you need.

Hi every one I posted the following question in another thread but no one has answered.....since this thread is somewhat related I wanted to repost it to all of you: Very Happy
I read that you can use a midi foot controller to trigger varieations, fills, and such.....I have a Digitech Control 8 foot controller with expression Pedal.....here is my problem....when I assign midi input channel one to upper I can control volume on upper and program changing on upper.....or assigne channel 1 to the CONTROL and have the pedals on 81-87 change the variations so on and so forth, but no Volume......the expression pedal is assigned to chanel 7 on the foot controller...I want to trigger variations, fills, and such with the pedals and still control volume on the upper with the expression pedal....I know peapole are coming up with very inovative ways to use the behringer 1010 pedal

How do I assign my pedalboard to triger variations and at the same time control upper volume control???

Thanks,
Mike

When you want to control volume upper1 and variations , you need to set up 2 midi channels. For Upper1 one channel and for Control other channel. You can not send all commands only in one channel. You need two channels.

well! I don't know Microkorg

Kontrol49.
Go to setting mode and assignment parameters to sliders and pads. When you need more controlers (CC0,CC32, PC) for one choose, try use MESSAGEs choice.

I can not give you more advices

Use PC editor....set up would be more easily

O sorry! It is detto. You need to use two midi channels.
you need to send for upper cc7 or cc11
you need to send for STYLE ELEMENTS PC80-97 but you have to use CONTROL CHANNEL. You set up in menu MIDI IN one channel to CONTROL CHANNEL and other channel (usually ch1) to UPPER.

Setting for your digitech you have to do yourself

Good luck!
