Hi Tom,
So good to hear from you - I take it means that your still kicking
Wow - the intro. and sounds are so cool - a bit different from your other tunes. Nice to hear you experimenting.
Wow - this is has such depth! What equip. did you use ? Very cool voices you've got there. It really pulls the listener in.
2 nits: There is a click or pop near the very beginning (at second 3, and the end seemed really abrupt.

I got all warm and fuzzy just to hear our voice again, after much time missing you. Great poetry as usual. I like the electric piano here for a change up. You did a fantastic job on the background music. Even a delay pluck guitar in there, nice touch. The voice panning seems to work too. Hm. wish I could see the words put up here so I don't miss a one. So nice to hear this and it's really a beautiful work once again. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Hello Art and George,
Thank you for your kind words. I recorded this in Samplitude10 using their
am effects suite. Vocals were recorded using a kms105 supercardioid
mic which is extremely effective in a noisy environment. Most of the sounds
are from a tyros2.
This was the first mix down of the song and the only copy I had. The hard
drive failed the next time I booted up the laptop and I only managed to recover the song as that partition was still intact. I had already resigned myself to recording it over again from the beginning. Yes, I do hear that click
in the beginning but any changes will have to wait until I can rebuild my
laptop.
Regards,
Tom |

Hello Tom
It's really good to have you back here. There is a lot of depth in this song and shows again what a true artist you are. The words and music fit perfectly together - from "roadways to rivers" onwards there was so much emotion, and yet fewer sounds.
Hope you get that laptop fixed
Regards from
Dee |

I was beginning to wonder where you jetted off to!
Glad to hear your song bro. I've said it before, but I love your style completely. I too would like to see your words. I feel I miss a lot with one or two of your songs trying to make out the words.
But even without grasping everything they say, your inflections always capture me from beginning to end.
Great job!

Hi Tom!!!,
What a wonderful realization of a really hard to grasp subject!!!
As usual, you have a certain open and full sound with minimalist flavor, a true artistic rendering!!!!!
Very hard to listen to in some places.....it is holding to the lost and wondering as you often do...
Thanks!! It is a real keeper...and the bell-like sounds just set it ablaze with emotion...
