Hi,
As I previously wrote here I have a major problem with my Korg M1. It sounds very distorted thru the analog outputs. Is there a way to record it's own sounds as MIDI into external sequencer, like Logic Pro, and listen to them, so I assure myself the problem is not in one of my Korg processors? |

You could record the midi, but your M1 would then be a glorified synth-controller keyboard.
MIDI does not carry any audio, it just carrys note on, note off, velocity, controller change etc.
then you send that to another synth to use its sounds instead. |

Yes, I know that. I am asking, because my Korg M1 output sound is distorted and I want to find where the problem is. Few people told me, that could be the DA converter, another one presumed it could be the FX processor. Must locate the problem and if possible to repair this beauty. Thanx anyway! |
