I!
I've been working a lot lately with the big O's SEQ and I've been dealing with some issues (no, this is not another "new Oasys seq overdue"...):
- Is there any way for leveling the overall velocity in a single track? Sometimes I play harder on some measures, and it gets unballanced in velocity. I've experimented with the "modify velocity" option, but that doesn´t seem to do the trick.
Anyone?
Thanx.

you have to do it with modify velocity as you said, pointing to the faulty measure. or you have to do it by hand, using midi event editing, or you have to record it again paying attention to how hard you play Wink

You might change the responsiveness of the keyboard via changing velocity curves in the Global Mode. Not the most elegant solution - but depending on your playing style and abilities it might help to get it mostly correct when recording and save tideous editing time afterwards.

Did you set a number when you tried to modify the velocity?
You have to set a measure range and specify a number.
For a velocity of 080, the start and end should be 080.
If you set a measure range of 005 to 016, then the velocity
will be set at 80 for those measures.
Wink

It should work!!

Yes, I did... the problem is that ALL NOTES will be set for 80. Sad

Look into the Intensity and Curve parameters. They're described in the Parameter Guide and onboard help system, and should do the trick for you.

Best regards,

Dan

Intensity and Curve... funny, I've never dealt with those parameters. Thanx for the hint! I'll look into it right away.
