What's the best way to get consistent volume levels to the monitor mixer, short of going through all the songs and using the mixer sliders to adjust volume of relevant tracks? As it is now, some of the timbres (patches) are quite a bit louder than others. Drives sound people nuts. Me too for that matter. I rely at the moment on stage monitor to hear keyboard. I don't use an amp. David.
Incidentally, I purposely did 3 posts to aid in development of a good search database. |

Try the auxiliary outputs for more control, you can even add a volume pedal for "no-hand" control while playing. |

Thanks. That was also the advice of the last soundman although he didn't know details. I currently use 1/2 as click for drummer. So I should just use 3 and 4 for melodic timbres and rely on the monitor entirely for stage sound ? And not use the main outputs at all unless I have my own amp? David |

Great minds do think alike, although Im not so sure about that soundman.
***The possibilities are endless I suppose, you could also pick yourself up a patchbay for a lousy 20 bucks split the signal and have one stereo pair go to your stage keyboard amp, and the other pair go to your soundman to mixdown with the rest of the band (I know!, who needs a lousy patchbay when you can do that on the Triton) hehe!. |
