Hi fella's! It's my first post here on this forum Smile

Well, I just bought a KORG Prophecy from a friend but I'm having trouble using the interface to edit the sounds so I started wondering if I could get a freeware somwhere for my Mac to edit the sounds via MIDI. I found a program called Midi Quest 10 and downloaded the demo but it didn't seem to work …

I've searched the web a lot for Prophecy related articles and stuff but I never find anything relevant.

Another thing: Is there any way of "nullifying" a patch or preset to remove all envelopes, filters, effects etc. from a patch to get a clear sawtooth or sinus wave? When editing the sounds of the Prophecy that's probably the most annoying bit, to do this by hand on the presets.

It would be great if some Prophecy-nerd out there could answer my questions. Smile

Look for a program called "progenie" which is a software editor for the Prophecy. It's old enough that it should be floating around on the web somewhere.

Yeah, I have already stumbled upon that but it's only for Windows and I'm using Mac. Dead case?

Maybe I'll just go and buy some old PC only to be able to use Progenie if I don't find anything …
