|
|
I am a new member and an amateur "play-by ear"owner of a Korg PA50. I find the PA50 difficult to operate and am looking for whatever suggestions I can get to simplify access to styles and "voices" and general basics. I have not touched Midi yet and will avoid that until I get a handle on basics first. ( I had a Yamaha PSR 530 for some years and could work that fairly well.)
I bought the PA50 New online but I believe it was used before and a number of non-default settings were left on the Keyboard, assuming that was a possibility. Is that something which could be possibly making things more difficult?
I would be grateful for any input or clarification questions
offered,, My main objective is to just use onboard styles to play my own songs with, plus whatever features go along with the basics, like accompaniment, variations,
One final question: Is the "memory" light supposed to be on as a default?
Many Thanks

HI Cabot,
I advise you to re install the OS. Look at korgpa.com and then go to software. You have to download the latest OS for the pa50.
Yea Memory light must be on, for the bass/accomps..
if you have more question i would gladly help you..
