Satheesh buy yamaha Motif XS
The acoustic instruments you are looking for is more in it.

When ppl playing on stage you here chorus and other voices comming from keyboard.
This is not possible in M50.
Because no Sampler.

Not Choir but Chorus

What is a chorus patch? A patch with the chorus effect? The M50 has a chorus effect too. If not this, what the heck are you talking about?

Also, comparing the M50 and the Motif XS is hardly fair. The Motif is definitely better, but is significantly more expensive. Comparing the M3 with the Motif XS is a much better comparison, as is comparing the M50 with the MO6/MO8.

I think he is refering to for example the ability to program a sampled backing track for example 'all together now' style chorus sections, that you would have to sample...

It isn't a patch. There are songs sung (solo performances) in india with ppl singing chorus along with them. If there isn't a sampler you can't have those chorus part in keyboard unless somebody sings.

see my first post pls.

Ok, so the fact that what you're sampling happens to be backing vocals is irrelevant (and the original poster may not actually want other voices at all).

The relevant fact: the M50 has no sampling capabilities, while the TR does. The other relevant fact: the Motif XS is *much* more expensive than the TR, and even outprices the newer Korg M3 which does have sampling. Is the Motif better? I personally think so, but price matters too.

When someone is looking at two keyboards priced around $1,000 US for 61-key versions, it probably doesn't make sense to another keyboard priced around $2,300 US (again, 61-key; they obviously scale up from there).
