Cubase is usually pretty stable; must be something with your plugins. Do you have the latest update for your Cubase version downloaded?

What other good programs? Really, this is "What other DAWs besides Cubase are there?"

I doubt Reason works, since Reason can't use VSTs. Other than that, anything supporting VSTs should use the M50 plugin: Sonar, Reaper, FL Studio, etc.

I use Sonar 7 Producer Edition. I really fumbled around for a while getting the M50 working with it through the plugin, but now after a month or so of evenings fiddling with it I'm getting comfortable and making some music.

Which version of Cubase are you using?

I'm using SX3, NEVER a problem... I find it hard to believe Cubase is the problem..

There is NOTHING better than Cubase (except Nuendo)..

Hopefully Jugo can figure out the difference between preference and fact Wink

I use Cubase too though (version 4), and in my experience, I've never seen a crash that wasn't obviously plugin-related.
