where did you get that fiddle sound?! it's amazing!
And yes, I think Stephen here is right, but I would say it in other words: there seems to be a definate electronica music influence in this "country" tune.
Good job!

Cheers for the kind words and reviews
Lorenzo
the fiddle was made with a manipulated fiddle audio sample and some portamento, compression, reverb... and some more compression.......lol
i tried to combine between the two music worlds to get the power of electronica dance music and the fun and authenticity of country music
both styles are causing people to dance:D |

nice bottom bass in your kick, this reminds me of Cotton Eyed Joe, which was country disco as well, but this is a bit different and really very fun. I didn't know they could get down like this in your neck of the woods _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Very clever, and to the point... the fiddle is indeed fun...
Wonder if you also follow other "American" ideas and forms....?
The only two things I would ask for would be more solo sound..., like a more pointed fiddle tune somewhere...(But I see well what your intention is and it is just fine...). And/Or.., second, ..allow that fiddle solo to slip into (What, is it in? B flat I hear...?) .., IV ... So mod into E flat for a space...(?) , and then mod. back...
The total production is fine... I hear nothing to take away from the style anywhere.... Well Done...

Hi ellll thank you for listening and reviewing
it's a little bit Blues (with the fiddle playing pentatonic scale) and a little bit Funk(with some electric guitars) so i guess you can dig some more music forms in this track...
i wanted the acoustic instruments to place the synth parts in dance music like... using the guitar riffs as arpeggiators, using the fiddle as a lead part etc.
i didn't want to make any harmonic moves (I-IV, I-IV-V, ....)because that would make it a little cheesy and i want it to sound more stable to get the progressive tech dance floor energy... not Cotton Eyed Joe...
cheers |

Yes! Indeed....
Now that I have a better feel for your whole plan, it makes sense....
It is NOT, after all, a copy of a standard hillbilly tune, is it..(?).., so IV is not really needed here... The plan works very well indeed... Thanks for putting this one on...!!
And also.. "Neck of the woods"..as used by George is just a funny Americanism we hear.... roughly meaning "in the area where you live..., which is a ways off from me"
Regards! John(ellll) |

ellll... it is not a copy of a song it made up from scratch, i took some guitar arpeggios from Motif XS... some sampled guitar voices... fiddle and banjo... and stitched it all togethr in Cubase ... Wavelab... and thats what came out
George

I could see this being played in clubs. It's different, subtle, rhythmic. It offers an alternative to heavy dance music and I could imagine people creating new dance moves to fit it. It also has a good long intro that would make it good for that purpose. |

Great work. The variety of the electronic sounds and the fiddle sound work very well.
I do think, though, that the fiddle's solo could expand a bit more. It gets repetitive after the first few verses. I think it would be awesome if it were to solo longer and finally conclude with the riff at the end. I can't complain with anything else though, as the sounds were well done and produced. _________________ Like my Facebook Page!

HELL YES! I love it. This one will definitely pierce the air and change the the scene whenever it finds ears. Nothing like hearing something that is truly unique and at the same time pleasant AND at the same time dynamic. Good combo. |

Thank you Graham, Pumpkin King and pwmccredie for the kind review
Joe Pumpkin King i agree with you, i'll try to think of some more variations for the Fiddle lead in order to make it less tedious but still somewhat stable and repetitive
Thanks again for your kind words
