Very nice and easy-going song. I really enjoyed it. Smile

I do think though that the drums could be a bit louder. But it isn't much of a concern. Also I think the piece would be better off without the brass part at around 2:10. I think it's taking away from the flute solo (I think it's a flute) playing behind it.

Other than that, I enjoyed your playing and the vocals. Good work.

I clicked on the link, then on hi-fi and since it didn't started I opened another browser window and check out some web pages. I realized after a minute or so that the song already started and that it was a perfect background for my browsing so I think it's a really good song or I would have realized earlier I was listening to your song and I would have killed the soundclick player. I enjoyed it till the end. A very good one!
Regards, Lorenzo

Hey there Graham

you made a beautiful touching song, i like your voice very much, the overall production sounds good, i do agree with Pumpkin king about boosting the drums a little and leveling it with the bassline.

i enjoyed listening to it very much

Good serious work!

This is a beautifully composed song, I like what you've written here, and the strong parts are the piano and the bass, but the drums are too far back and the horns are too up front, I would like to hear them with some reverb and a bit lower. You bass is so well done and prominent that it kills the kick. But that is easily fixed. A few timing issues in certain spots but still it's very enjoyable to listen to. Your voice is so simple and honest and I'm jealous. I need to get you on some of my songs that actually need tunes to be sung and not my spoken vocalizings. Congrats on your first OSAM song. Nice job and don't sweat the details too much that you hinder your progress. I am so buried in my current song that it's sucking the life out of me. It was inspiring to listen here to the fine work you're doing.

Very nice indeed....great vocal!!! WoW ....Just great!

The arrangement and production was really nice and fun... but I would like to hear a tad less bass with the really nice piano line...or maybe a break away... to allow the voice and piano to come throug then...

The rhythmic elements to me is the.., perhaps strongest area !!

What a neat song... and your higher voice is ....just WoW... good!!

Thanks!!!!! for posting this!!

My Regards, John (ellll)

Hi Graham

What a good way to start off for the year. It's a lovely song, and you get a good sad sound in your voice. I would agree with John about the bass being a bit too loud, and I would also suggest varying it's rhythm a bit more.

Well done!

Regards from
Dee

What a compliment! You are on my Christmas Card List. Very Happy

I guess all those hours listening to MacCartney albums as a kid rubbed off subconsciously. Too bad the hours of listening to Clapton didn't rub off more on my fingers.

Wow, too much bass Smile That's good, I've been working on my engineering to get the bass stronger with compression. Now I'll turn the level down a little.
