|
|
Hi!
I am using Korg Legacy with my Cubase 3.0.2 (pc).
With the synth's it all works perfect, and the controller works fine. (in stand alone, as well.)
However, when using MS20-fx as an insert on audio track, I can't use the controller. The plugin works fine but it do not respond to the knob turning.
Shouldn't it work? |

No, it shouldn't work. The controller is a midi device, so only plugins that have access to the midi input can respond to it. If you use the plugin as an insert on an audio channel, it will not get midi input and hence will not respond to the controller. |

Well, after I have made the post I found out how to do it.
You put the MS-20fx as an insert on the audio track (or a MIDI-track. That works fine as well).
Then you create a new MIDI track. As "Out" for that track you choose the MS-20fx.
Now the MS-20fx on the audio track responds to your hardware Legacy Controller. Or any other controller choosed as MIDI-input, I guess. |
