Here goes nuthin:
http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=7659545&q=hi
We should start a cult
Rock and roll assault
We could take our brains out, baby
And keep ‘em in a vault
Ya ya, we could make or break em
Miracles? Well, we can fake em
Sitting in our pews
Designing new tattoos
Proper girls in purple habits
Wearing boogie shoes
Showing off my clone
Kneeling at the throne
We know how to work nirvana
In the great unknown
If we sell our souls
To make it in the polls
Not too proud to take donations
Just to meet our goals
Word for word it’s our commandment
Written in my scrolls
Surrender all your will
And take this little pill
Surely heaven is eternal
Till you get your fill
I’ll give you my bobble head
And put it on your bill
Your salvation
Aberration
Funny cigarettes
We live without regrets
Chubby ladies rhythm dancing
Fading silhouettes
Let us pastor
This disaster
A cult a cult a crying cult now
Welcome to the void
A cult a cult a dying cult now
Liberty destroyed
Worship really pays
I accept your praise
Momma says she thinks I’m only
Going through a phase _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Hi George, well you've done it again in your own style, this is great stuff man. How do you do it? This reminds me of the late 70's earlier 80's.
I love the drums and the bass really deep and dark, also the synth sounds are great.
Well done

thanks, guys, for the comments, esp the bad gtr, Stephen. I decided i didn't like it either and have made it more synth sounding. I do like the overall effect better and it fits better how I picture my cd to sound. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Hi George,
Thanks for your kind reply to my new posting...
This is SUPER to me!!! A lot going on with some just fantastic driving rhythmic elements!! And the lyrics are again as usual spot on for the style.. Don't know how you do it... Love the guitar anyway... it covers the sound and could be done a number of ways.
Great stuff as usual....
I play your "Up Against...", I got from you quite often when I drive a distance.... Guess I will be doing that some now....
Best Regards, Always!! John (ellll) |

your tracks are always very well produced, however for this one I felt it was a little too busy - the vocal didn't sit well at all! the other elements were way too bright and didn't leave space for the vocals. The same with the solo - it seemed to sit behind the rest of the track.
Maybe it could also have something to do with the excessive stereo width of the 'backing' parts. sometimes this brings attention to a part rather than blending it in....
as far as the arrangement and sequence, the song, I liked it very well. particularly the delay on the vocals towards the end (about 3:40), gave a nice depth. Its nice to see a reasonable amount of automation going on in a track, rather than a set of static elements. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,
