If you are holding a key on the keyboard, or moving the joystick etc. you can't change tracks. That may be your problem...

Regards,

jerry

Assuming you REALLY mean that and you don't even have so much as a pedal connected, go to GLOBAL mode and make sure the damper polarity is set to KORG. Don't forget to save the changes.

Regards
Sharp,

I have the exact same problem. I do have 2 pedals connected to the TE. A square yellow/black Korg pedal into the switch connection and a Yamaha Damper pedal in the damper connection.

I can switch tracks no problem for a while, then after the keyboard has been on for 1 -2 hours I can't switch from one track to another.

A related problem, I also can't play the keyboard while the sequence is running, stop the sequence, and continue to play the sound I was playing. When you stop the sequencer all sounds cut off very abruptly. The Triton ProX I had didn't have a problem letting you continue to play after stopping the sequence.

Any help will be great. Thanks.

Hi bugg1.

The Yamaha pedal is extremely likely to be the cause of your problems.
You really should only use a KORG one and flip the polarity in Global mode back the way it should be.

Another fix I've heard of is people cutting the jack off Yamaha cables and rewiring them up the same as KORG ones.

Regards.
Sharp.

That might be the problem. If I unplug the pedals, turn on the TE, and try to stop the sequencer with the buttons, it does the same thing.

I will try that and if it works will buy a Korg DS1H to use. I'll let you know one way or the other.

Thanks!!!

Just follow my instructions and it will not happen.
You are not flipping the polarity back to KORG as I said.

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

This issue sometimes happens if you are holding down a key or using the joystick or pedal at the time you stop recording. In other words, if things have not been re-set to zero, or centre, or all notes off at the time you press the stop button.

Be careful to restore everything to "zero" before ending recording, and see if that helps.

I should have been more clear.

Actually it is when I am playing along with a sequence I have already recorded.

Example :

I am playing along with the sequence and the band is ready to end the song, to hold the ending I have to hit the pause button. I can't hit stop or use the pedal to stop the sequence. If I do then everything cuts off.

I was responding to the issue at the top of this thread. For your second problem, perhaps you should start another thread... :-]
