|
|
I currently have an 88 key master keyboard... and a high end PC with many software solutions.. I am adding an M3 module to that for the great sounds and espescially KARMA. I can buy a module really cheep.
But my masterkeyboard is getting old and has to be replaced.... I am thinking of replacing it by an 88 key synth/workstation (Non KORG, for adding another type of soundspectrum)
So what would you advise me, i am strictly playing at the home at a reasonable level and use my music to release me from my stress in the daily job. |

PC3X: will offer you GREAT piano and GREAT orchestral instruments. With the new built in VA1 engine you'll have a modular synth in your hands as well
Motif XS: will offer you GREAT acoustic instrument such guitar and basses and electric piano as well.
Your choice! _________________ http://www.synthaddicted.com |

I agree with Lorenzo, but be aware that the PC3 is a pain to program, compared to other workstation, especially Korg.
It has amazing MIDI possibilities and great sounds...but it's not easy to use.
Now, with the PC/Mac editor, it seems that it's become easier.
I would add to the list the Fantom G8, too...great keyboard feeling and good sounds.
Just my 2 cents, hope this help a bit.
