there are some very good one inside this collection! I need to buy an ND filter (hope the name is the same in English) to get slower shutter speed for my canon too.
Regards, Lorenzo

Yep, ND filters are universal in any language. Because I'm shooting full frame the camera works better in low light so I actually have to use 2 ND 8 filters. Even at that I'm not getting the long exposures I want so I'll have to find somthing a lot stronger.

It's loads of fun though.

Regards
Sharp.

You can create an unlimited nd effect by using two linear polarizers. I think it works with circular polars as well, but I haven't tried it.

It can almost darken completely so you can take pictures of the sun, for instance. Be careful though, if you do that and accidentally move the polar, it might damage your sensor. So I think is better to use a filter specific for direct sun exposure.

Sweet... I didn't know but I'll certainly give it a try.
I only have one circular right now, but I know where I can get a loan of a second for a week or two to mess around with.

Cheers

Sharp / Lorenzo

Please try to get either two linear or a linear and a circular, or you might get some unwanted color shift due to the quarter wave plate that circulars have. If you shoot RAW (Which I asume you are) you might get the color cast away in your RAW processor, but the idea is to get the right color from start.

Let me know how it worked for you ok?

Cheers

I already got a linear one, I'll have a friend who will sell his one in the next two week for cheap and I'll try to get it. I'll post some pictures as soon as I'll get it.
