dumb question. again probably been asked before. i am looking at a couple different exp boards on ebay. (future loop and vintage archive specifically) i understand how to install the board itself. just like installing a stick of ram but how do i make it work. i see some of the pictures from ebay showing a floppy disc. is that needed to make it work or are they plug and play so to speak.

again a dumb question. but hey i never claim to be smart.

Hey bmstylee

There ain't no dumb questions here - that wasn't a dumb question my friend.

The diskette comprises some "ready-to-use" combis and programs utilizing the expansion board.

So, typically, you buy the boards, plug them in, load the combis and programs from the diskette(s) and start playing and listening to the new boards!!

Hope this helps

Cheers

Just a caution: BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO INSTALL THE TRITON PCG. IT WILL OVER WRITE YOUR KARMA PRESETS AND SCREW UP EVERYTHING
