Hey guys,

New member and searching through the site and online, unfortunately I can't an answer to my question.

I'm curious as to what kind/type of switch Korg uses for the Pitchblack that I have. I apologize as this hard to explain but a normal foot switch has the "click" sound when engaged/disengaged for bypass/sending signal. The Pitchblack has a silent switch that does not "click", yet still bypass/sends signal.

I would like to find out what type of switch these are and a manufacturer/place to find these foot switches for use of custom pedals

Can anyone shed light on this?

Thanks!
-Craig

Looks like they are using a surface mounted switch of some sort - I've seen it referred to as a soft touch switch.

e-Switch is one vendor that makes these.
