hi friends,
i have a korg dvp-1 and when i power it up it just shows an 'A' where the program # is. can you tell me what this means and how i should go about trying to get it fixed?
is there a way to send a factory reset/presets sysex file to the DVP1 from a computer?
any help here would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Dear asterisk,
I know nobody is viewing the topic back in 2011 anymore... just for memorandum.
I just happened to find your question which was exactly as same as my problem.
My DVP-1 also showed just "A" in the program number and did not respond at all. Then I tried "Preload Data", which is pressing "INT WAVE", "CHORUS", and "UP" simultaneously when turning up the DVP-1.
But in my case, it worked fine without pressing the "UP" button. Just pressing the "INT WAVE" and "CHORUS" worked fine. Anyway should be worth trying both ways. Mine worked fine after doing this. Good luck! |
