Just got the microsampler and trying to learn all the ins and outs...

When go into the sampling settings, the sample time always changes on its own. It starts out 4/1 or 16 beats...later when I want to resample what i recorded on to a key, the sample time doesn't go past 2/1 or 10 seconds, etc etc...

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks~

When you press the SAMPLING button once and it is flashing green, use the two FX CONTROL knobs to go through your settings. Knob 1 will get you to SAMPLE TIME and knob 2 will change the value. It can be based on beats or measures corresponding to your master BPM or it can be measured in seconds. Depending what sampling mode your in each time basis has its pros and cons. LOOP MODE and a predetermined amount of measures can be handy, especially if you're doing a loop based track and want to add layers or overdubs.

That's the thing...the values for the time parameter changes on it's own.
Instead of showing my all the possible values, i'm maxed at strange numbers like 5.3 seconds, or 14 seconds, etc...

I'm not quite sure what's going on...
Unless I unknowingly messed with some setting.

Wonder if this has been affected by the amount of sampling memory you have left?

Good call lloydsmith, that would cause such a thing to occur. Hardslash, maybe you'd be better off using the software editor to truncate the samples. If that's not an option (for whatever reason) you may need to turn the sample rate down to 24kHz or less.
