Ok, i need help, in my whole experience i never worked Digitally nor
connected anything. Now i got all new equipement, computers, soundcards,
mixers, e tc...this time i wanna connect M3 digitally to the Audio Interface.
This is the SoundCard:

and here is what i dont understand:
The question is obvious, what wires and to what ports on the Interface?

SPDIF comes in two variations (OK, three, but the BNC version is obsolete in consumer hardware, I would say).
The most usual is the RCA, see here:

What you need is TOSLINK, see here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOSLINK
So you need a pair of optical TOSLINK cables, connect OUT from M3 to IN on your new soundcard and OUT from your soundcard to IN on your M3. Bear in mind that the sample rate has to be set up properly - since M3 works on 48 kHz, that's the value you have to set in your soundcard's control panel. On the picture you provided in this topic, TOSLINK is in the left lower corner, that's where you'll connect the cables. |

Hvala Shrike, znaci oba kabla su iste na obe strane, nemora adaptere za
drugacije konekcije na karticu. Samo kad stavim 48khz za M3 koje vec znam
zar nece ono promjeniti sav computer system na 48khz (koje ne bi zeleo)?
Il to ce samo tako raditi za M3 dok ostalo sve i dalje ce biti na 48khz.
pisi u privatnu ako hoces, jebes ih.
