Is the pitch and time stretch function on the MS as capable as other samplers you think?
MS is the first hardware sampler for me and I felt it's limitation in that area...but then again I don't know what the correct protocol/procedures that involve stretching sound |

| In my opinion, time stretch makes things sound bad on any sampler, software included. If you're only speeding up a drum break a little bit it sort of works, but you'll hear it every time if you know what it sounds like. I have an SP-505 and it only uses time stretch, that was it's one major flaw. |

I don't know about other samplers but I know the Microsampler does similiar artifacts to Garageband on the Mac when you slow down time too much; that Matrix-style granulation.
I say we're just lucky to be able to alter BPM and pitch separately at all. |
