I'm trying to use an MPCto control the Microsampler. I have the Microsampler on 'sample' mode as opposed to 'keyboard' mode, and am able to get the MPC to trigger samples on the Microsampler - however there seems to be no sense or order to the way in which the samples have been 'mapped'. For instance I press one pad on the mpc and it triggers 3 different samples on the Microsampler simultaneously. It's incredibly random!
Does anyone know what might be going on here?

To Be Honest, I'd say it's the MPC at the root of the problem.
I have the MPC 2000XL and there isn't a module I've ever hooked into the MPC and had the pads follow a 'proper' MIDI progression- as in the pads follow in order like piano notes.
If you look at the MIDI layout in the Soft Editor, you can see it's laid out from C3 on up. _________________
