Perhaps someone can help me out. I have sampled some sounds from .wav files but cannot tune them. I need to be able to play back the samples in keyboard mode and need them tuned to an E so they correspond with my PK 5 trigger pedals. The original sample is in the key of E. The problem is that the sample plays at the original pitch (E) at the C4 key so playing back in keyboard mode using pedals plays the sample at the wrong note. If I need to play an (E) I must step on a (C) Pedal. I need to make sure the original sample plays at an (E) on the keyboard and pedals.
I hope someone can help |

I hope I understand you correctly, but using the 'Semitone' setting, you can change the pitch of the sample played back with the 'C4' key. Using a value of '-4', it plays back at the original rate when using the 'E4' key. |

You are exactly right. Thanks for the solution this worked for me. I thought I could change the pitch of the sample with the software editor but it would not work so I did it using the Microsampler itself and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help. |
