I'm new here. I just got my SV1 and I love it. I see that Korg reads this forum so I was wondering, is there an official place to request new sounds?

If not, then I'd like to make this thread dedicated to new sound requests.

I like the new ogan sounds in SP2. For rock and blues I mainly use an 888000000 with percussion and 3rd. Korg has that covered. I also occasionally use full drawbar settings for effect. But I'd like something softer too. Something like what's on Time of the Season by the Zombies.

Maybe Korg couls offer editable drawbar settings in a new version of the Editor??!!

Also, I never use it but I can see how a lead synth sound would be logical for some players.

Other than that I love the board and sounds.

I'm pretty sure what you're asking here is not possible. The SV-1 does not actually emulate/simulate/synthesize drawbar settings like on a clonewheel organ (big omission IMO), instead it just has some samples of different composite drawbar settings.

So it is not as simple as just 'exposing' the drawbar settings to the user. If they were there in the first place I believe Korg would have done that anyway, their products are usually very scientific and open in their editing.

It would be wonderful if Korg would create an editable simulator of a Hammond B3 in order that we could manipulate the drawbars ourselves. The tech team could certainly come up with a clone wheel simulator that we could use the SV1 editor to modify.

Even without an editor I'd still like a few more variations on the hammond sounds. Using the same 2 sounds all night gets old.
