I going to buy for sure the new kronos and iam wondering how it will work with the open pro tools 9...i hope you can help me with this...what iam thinking is to use the kronos as the soundcard for my mac with pro tools 9.....do you think this is possible if i dont use any other sound card?....
I think that the conversors in the kronos must be better than any other cheap soundcard, so this is why i would like to use the kronos in that way....even if I connect the monitors to the kronos...there must be a way to listen the mix in pro tools 9?....
thanks very much... |

Well, this kind of capability would be available via a Pro Tools RTAS plugin. However, it's unclear whether or not any Kronos RTAS plugins will be available.
The M3 came with an excellent RTAS plugin, and I can only hope that Korg continues its wisdom and embraces the large population of Pro Tools users with the Kronos release.
Sure would be nice to know... |
