Look, having in mind those prices (4000-5150 or so EUR), there won't be a lot of European buyers. Maybe that's a calculated risk - to try to do a bigger part of sales in the US. It would kind-of make sense.voice-music wrote:"source ?"
its the first German prices..
but i hope that that are not the final prices in germany
I googled "Music Schmidt"
I heard that in US the prices will be 3000 $
that would be 2250 EU....THATS OK.

if u r right i must by a Kronos in the usa.
dont know whats the prices are for shipping AND tax but that would be cheaper then to buy a Kronos in Germany.
But maby to soon and only specualtion.....
if the Kronos prices are in the same range like the Motif in Usa AND Europe then its not a problem.
if you buy a Motif xf 61 in Europe you have to pay 2400 Euros
Us prices are the same?....but in $ ? ...right? ^^
Quoting myself, since the above was a actually a joke. I did just pre-order my 73 key from Chuck Levin's yesterday. It was a very exciting time and a bit overwhelming to see the Oasys 76, 88 and the V-Synth GT which I never find anywhere especially in one place.Bach42t wrote: And I was told I am the 601st for the 73. I guess it's going to be a while
Humorously enough, those are the same OASYS synths they've been trying to sell for 3 years. A specific salesman there HOUNDED me for an entire YEAR to buy either one of their demo OASYS workstations (the 76 or 88 ). Last time I was in there was just before I moved from the DC-Metro Area--a few days before Thanksgiving 2010--they still had the same demo units sitting on the floor, prices unchanged. They're a little crazy if they think someone's gonna give them $7300 for a 4-year-old floor model OASYS 88 when you can get them used (and in better condition) on Ebay for $4K.Bach42t wrote: Quoting myself, since the above was a actually a joke. The lowest a Guitar Center rep can go is 5% above GC cost. The computer blocks them out at that level and won't let them go any lower. Go see CJ at Guitar Center Fairfax. He's my boy. If he won't take care of you, Josue or Jonah will (and Jonah's an Assistant Manager).MartinHines wrote:You are lucky. Most sales reps won't go that low.AK-Jake wrote:I usually get about a 15-20% discount on gear through GC. My Motif XF7 was $3100 US at GC, I walked out the door with it for $2550.
10-percent is the minimum discount you should get in my book.
And I was wrong, I got my XF7 for $2700, not $2550. That was a different product, my bad.
There was a European Kronos presentation in the Netherlands yesterday.
Announced price is as expected and ok: (slightly) below 3000€ for the 61 version.
Now comes the real shock:
At this occasion they said that European customers should not expect the Kronos early, rather in late summer/autumn 2011!!!
I still can't believe such a late European release date.
Would be nice if ANY Korg staff member could clarify (confirm or deny) that.

I poked my head around to the back of the 76-key and it was Serial #000020. Wow.AK-Jake wrote:Humorously enough, those are the same OASYS synths they've been trying to sell for 3 years. You mean that by may we'll have a section of this forum totally hijacked by "disgruntled Kronos customers who didn't get what promised" as well?!?jimknopf wrote: European customers should not expect the Kronos early, rather in late summer/autumn 2011!!!
