Thank you.

I included the polish language article in the collective thread here. There is an interesting close shot with the list of piano programs. I think the first one where we can see this.

I saw both videos ,
Maybe it's the mic placement but to me kronos sounds nowhere near Oasys,
it sounds more like the Triton and that's not a bad thing at all . I would luv to hear some direct feed combi's of kronos being played to compare but so far kronos sounds nowhere near Oasys, are you kidding me. The Oasys has this shimmer in the hi and low mid frequencies that makes it sound like it's in 3D, I don't feel this so far with kronos . Why does everybody assume this thing is going to sound like Oasys. I don't get it but as always I could be wrong but for now my feeling stand .

I have both units here (still) in my home studio. I can promise you they sound the same...

Regards,

Jerry

P.S. I have nothing to gain shilling for Korg anymore.

I stand corrected , apologies. Nice to hear from you Jerry you were always one of my favorite . God Bless you . If Kronos has that 3d sound of Oasys it should have no problem being the best workstation available .

Considering how you've never seen the KRONOS up front, I can see why you would say that. But judging something as amazing as the KRONOS on a youtube video, or anything else for that matter, is completely and utterly irrelevant until you see it first hand for yourself.

Sina

Agreed and Jerry just confirmed the same , so I guess I better start saving.
Really hard to beat that sound quality. So I guess Korg's headline of "the game has been changed " should have been Korg "We did it aging" Laughing

Thank you for confirming it, Jerry, that means a lot.

P.S. I can't believe they published such a bad sound quality video. It's completely opposite to the exceptional sound quality of Kronos - which is very important for musicians and an essential selling feature.

Thanks for the kind words.

This is the problem of everyone now carrying around video-recording devices in a uncontrolled situation - less than optimal quality at times. And if the company doesn't allow anyone to record anything they're lambasted on the 'Net for being too controlling...

Question

Regards,

Jerry

I think in this case the company itself should make and publish a decent quality recording. It's not difficult.

Just an idea: I have very good experience with iPhone4. This records HD video with surprisingly good sound quality! We could record a band playing in a club at close range without the usual distortion in the sound.
