Jeez, at least give me a chance...
As described, it's an in-depth look at the structure of the EP-1 Electric Piano engine. Hope you enjoy it!

Enjoyed it ...
Rich, you're doing a great job on these videos. Very nice explanation of the functionality and basic character of the engines!
The only thing I would wish more of, would be to hear/see some more of the preset sounds/effects/cabinets we are curious for. We are sitting dry (without the instrument to check) here since 4 mionths now with two or more to go, so perhaps you understand that curiosity? |

Thank you Rich for doing this. All companies should do this for their products, all products deserves explanatory video's. I got a good impression from this. Though I'm not a E-piano guy, but this still grabs my attention. Can't wait for MOD-7! |

You heard of OASYS? MOD-7 on OASYS is exactly the same as Kronos. Lots of demos on Youtube if you search OASYS demo.
MOD-7 is old and HAS NOT been created for Kronos. You do not have to have a Kronos to experience MOD-7. And you do not have to wait for Rich to make a video about it. _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

I ment the video for MOD-7. and I don't know anyone who got one so I can see it. And I don't recall any good MOD-7 videos. So that is why I can't wait for this one. |

So the wah effect is only "auto-wah", or can you actually assign it to a control pedal, and control the wah with your foot, like a genuine wah? |

nice
the fact that TYPICAL effects are included in the model is really interesting.
A hiuge ergonomic jump forward by reference to the EDS+FX based system.
It makes less of a pain creating combis which include a wha rhodes or a ring-modulator one, changing a piano sound on the fly while keeping the master-oriented combi steady for controlling other synths, etc.
This was one my objections to the kronos, and it looks answered to.
You made a nice step forward in selling me one.
Pity the guy who demonstrated the Kronos here had no word for this.
I have made space for a 61, now let's talk the european price [there goes the thread ]. No, kust kidding. I'll wait for reason to set in. |
