it is very important to live performance.

Exactly what were you wanting the "switch" to do with outputs 1 & 2???
Nothing like this on previous models - I don't understand your question.

What use would an assignable switch be for volume?
OR do you mean expression pedal assignment? (Assignable foot switch?)
The assignable foot switch can be used for 4 volume-related controls:-
Master Volume
Accompaniment Volume
Keyboard Expression
Pad Volume
I imagine it would be a software developer's nightmare to configure all permutations of "volume" for 1 & 2 as those ports can be assigned to so many different things.

| This is not true Look on Page 20 of the PA3X Owners Manual and there is more info on page 212. Audio direct outs have been on all 3 modes PA1XPro the 2X pro &now the 3XPro. I use it on the PA1Xpro all the time, the only draw back is no effects. But I run the bass part to direct out 1 into a 2 12inch bass amp for an incredible bass sound. I also use direct out 2 to send instruments that need more EQ. The 1X Pro does not have bass-mid-treble controls for each track bummer. Good Luck I'm still hoping the PA3X Pro is going to be what I think it is. Ounce I can get my hands on here in the USA I'll no. |

With respect, I don't think you read my response correctly. This topic is about netraly1's requirement for Volume control of outputs 1 & 2.

My point was purely about that - of course, there have always been many 1&2 out assignment options - volume control will depend on what you have assigned but there is no "1 & 2 volume control" which netraly1 was wanting to assign to his pedal (I think/hope!!) - so if I did understand netraly1 correctly in the first place, it is actually quite an interesting request.
