|
|
Just picked up a new(demo) MS and got it home, plugged it in and realized that the backlit display goes off after about 5-10 seconds! The words and icons are there but the screen is dark. When I hit certain buttons or change parameters with one of the knobs the display will light up again for a few seconds and then go off. Is this suppose to happen?? I noticed that on the product video the display is also dark while he's adjusting parameters. Please let me know! Thanks in advance. |

It's designed that way. It's mentioned in the manual. Saves battery. _________________

You can also set it to stay on all time if you like. |

Global Mode Settings:
LCD.LIGHT (LCD backlight mode) ........ [“OFF,” AUTO, ON]
This specifies the display backlight mode.
“OFF” - The backlight will be off.
AUTO - The backlight will illuminate when you operate a knob or press a button. After a time, the backlight will turn off.
ON - The backlight will remain on constantly. _________________
