What"s the procedure for downloading and installing some 1x or 2x styles that didn't make the update to the 3x without risking a meltdown? thanks, Liongold |

I am going to stick my neck way out from the Pa80 basement and tell you it would probably be very wise not to load the "Global" settings from a set that was made for another model on the PA3X. Perhaps you can "Load" the styles, performances, etc. all separately but do not load the Global settings.
Cheers,

Just get hold of the ".STY" files and load them - or "open" them and just load the individual styles you want. Works for all STY files right back to the Korg i3.
Stratario is right !!! NEVER load SETs containing GLOBAL settings from other keyboards - fatal!!!
Cheers

I have Loaded all Pa1x (converted to Pa2x) styles and all avaiable Pa2x styles in my Pa3x. What I discovered is when loaded open style and press record it will convert the style to the Pa3x format and updated the Guitar mode. The style will sound better in most cases. Also the Var 1,2,3 an4 fill mode will work properly. You still will only have "Two" fills. _________________ PA3x |
