Broken Dreams.

A serious moody original. Somewhat cinematic.

My original is inspired by us artists who pursue our artistic dreams and
the ambition of recognition. And put up with the FUBAR music business.

The music we create is a reward in itself.
This song is also about the triumph of the human spirit.

Hope you enjoy this personal song. It is a departure from what
I have done in the past. Thanks for listening.

Greg

Hello! I am also the owner of this unique workstation and decided to make a track solely from the native sounds of Kronos. However, in the process of searching for the right sound, I still could not find a suitable for me - muted guitar. Muted guitar it's a single sound from Kontakt library
Everything was arranged and mastered in external DAW (easy to use for me).
Hope it bring some enjoy for you.
Thank you!

Here is another one from me:

https://soundcloud.com/gunnarsletta/sirens-song

This is actually a song I wrote some 10 years ago, but I wasn't happy with the results from back then and decided to start over.

It is has a pretty sad story and though it is all fictional, I started writing it after I came across this older gentleman in a ditch as I was walking to the shop one Saturday..

Recording is done in Reaper, and all keys are coming from the Kronos.

Well. as I posted elsewhere, sometimes ya just gotta write a country song.
So I did. Hope you like it. All keyboards are my Kronos. Everything else is done on a real instrument, not that the Kronos isn't. Except drums. I played those on my Korg Nanopad 2 using sounds in my Cubase DAW. Hope you like it and feel free to share it with your friends.
or even people you don't like! Wink

A Piece of Heaven:

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/a-piece-of-heaven

I define this as middle of the road [MOR} ambient jazz.

Original song inspired by observing my cats contentment in our back yard.
This is my 2nd original about my cats Smile Such wonderful pets.

Thanks for listening

Pain with Gain

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/pain-with-gainwav

This ambient jazz instrumental is my musical metaphor of
our drive to achieve more and more from life.

Pain with Gain also has cinematic qualities

Hope you enjoy my original ( 4 minutes).

Thank you for your time

Greg

I have the license(HFA) to perform and record this soundtrack from the
thrilling 1967 James Bond movie, You Only Liver Twice.

I put a groove on the original plus some great Kronos programs

Here is my latest one: https://soundcloud.com/gunnarsletta/portrait

This is a song I originally wrote in 2007, and it is about the weight of self-criticism. It was an important song for me as it was, conversely to the songs protagonist, the first song I put together and was happy with afterwards.

With the exception of the soft lead on the first verse and the bass under the piano at the end, all keys are from the Kronos.

Your piano skills are pristine perfect,I always enjoy hearing your work.

Songs with emotion and/or self emotion are the most poignant. Music/originals
are the cathartic vehicle to convey emotion. I expressed my frustration with the challenge of local promotion in my original ' Broken Dreams '.

I am convinced if an artist persists in showing his good work, he/she cannot be ignored.

What a beautiful work ! Very nice to hear.

From time to time your song reminded me some titles from Emerson Lake & Palmer.

Sincerely, congrats !

Brave New You

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/brave-new-youwav

This original and metaphorical song is my tribute to you.

You take on each day , ready to give it your best.
Along the way, stuff happens, you face obstacles and doubt.

You smartly adapt, find a better way and it works.

You bravely push ahead, proving you can do almost anything.

Greg
