Whenever I play to the sequencer my first note is always played in the previous 4/4 loop. For example, if I want to start playing on the 5th section, my first note will be at the end of the 4th section. It's annoying, and hard to edit. But when playing back, it sounds fine, and seems to match the drum beat. Is it my bad timing, or is that how you are supposed to play these tracks?
The real problem is that although it sounds OK, the copy paste is a nightmare. |

Mmm can you explain better the problem?you want to play in 5/4?or is any issues qith the count in measures? Where did you see your note in the wrong position? In the midi event editor?
btw, i use really often sequencer but neved had such issues. It could be your playing a little bit ahead the click. Have you try to quantize? |

I always seem to play ahead of the click, and this has happened on all of my keyboards for about 15 years.. I can't seem to fix my problem. I suppose I will have to quantize. |

Try using the punch in and out feature of the keyboard. The recording will not be able to start before the measure that you select to punch in at. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Or edit the event and copy and insert the early played note into the right measure and delete the early note.
I had the same problem... _________________ Low frequency rulez |
