The preset bank of ROM samples are the only thing which responds to velocity. All of my own samples play at fixed velocity. Anyone else had this? How do you fix it?
Any help greatly appreciated,

Hi Nick,
check the VEL INT (Velocity Intensity) parameter.
The higher the number, the more effect velocity will have on your sample.
see page 30 of the manual for more info.
