ok guys, after hearing all your opinions on the last topic i create ( http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=71261&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 ), i decided to go bought the kronos 88..
I think it's a large investment for me from my dad... and i promise i will make good use to it (especially making money)... Thanks for your opinion all this time...

One question though... How do i tell the difference between the old (mostly faulty keybed) with the new ones?? i've heard that the sticker is different (sticker on the highest C).. Is that correct?? i just want to make sure that i will get the latest batch of production...

Thank you all!

Ask the shop, there's no way of telling from the sticker. You need the blue rubber contacts, not the red. The shop should know. Very Happy

I recently bought a Kronos 88, which I was assured was from a new shipment with the fix installed. I have no way of proving that other than that it plays perfectly. The sticker didn't look any different than other ones I've seen. My serial number is 3671. I've also seen another post stating the same results at serial number 3602. So, that at least gives you an idea of a range of serial numbers with good keybeds.

Korg Canada won't give me any assurance, beyond stating that they will repair it if there is a problem, citing the silly 1% "factor', even after being informed that have had two problem units. Third times the charm, hopefully, so I have ordered again, insisting on a s/n that is higher than 3671, making the assumption that any such boards will be shipped with the new keybed. Expected shipment is June. Best I can do, it would seem.

The serial number is usually on the box, as to look at the box before you buy it.
