you can instal usb 3.0 but hardware and controler in your pa3x supports only usb 2.0 protocol... only you can put bigger and a bit faster usb drive... just check manufacturer specs about usb disk.... that factory usb i think is a bit slower that 18mb/s write speed... you could go to usb 2.0 maxmium.... but its not that significant....

USB 2 uses 1 millisecond frames, and in High Speed of 480 Mb/s mode they are divided into 8 micro-frames.
The maximum size of bulk packets used by USB mass storage devices is 512 bytes.
In theory , maximum is 13 packets per microframe. So the theoretical maximum speed of a USB 2 drive is:
1000 X 8 X 512 X 13 = 53248000 ~= 53 MB/s

Using a very fast USB 3 flash drive compatible to USB 2 protocol your can acheive in practise up to 40 MB/s
that is at least 4 times faster than factory system flash drive and faster than factory HD of 76 keybed that
uses the same protocol USB 2.
I use only Sandisk extreme Pro for both Pa3X/4X for my sound development that is faster than internal HDs.

Hope this helps

At this moment this expansion hdik-2 is from more than 100 euros, now with price only 35 euros.... in Serbia.

here is link
Code:
http://www.skymusiccenter.com/korg-hdik-2.html

1 euro is 118 - 119 rsd

i just want to check something esle..... i measured more than 10 usb flash drives, and results are catastrofal... all under 20mb/s and write 8-10 mb...

so i am thinking to try something else....

im searching electronics from hdd usb 3.0 rack, so i could put some ssd in my pa3x to check loading time, and i will compare it with another pa3x who already have hdd inside, if it is not so much difference that might be better option for every pa3x user....
4 eur hdd electronic + ssd price, instead of expensive 128gb or more usb flash 3.0 drives.

Iwill put results here soon as i do testing....

It is not saying partition is wrong it is saying it’s either a NEW disk OR Partition is wrong.
